BATSA Outdoor Event

Petra Vonk Design was briefed to develop and design an outdoor structure for promotional activity the structure was to be installed at the famous Gary Player golf course. The client’s main brief was to design a space that contains no physical branding but only the brand colours and the main theme to be based around Paris. We carefully researched how to combine the natural sunlight with the shape and sizes of materials to create clever reflections onto our structure. Inspiration were taken from French designs and we designed and manufactured our on local: Brise – soleil French word meaning Sun Shade Structure. All the golf players were treated to Sun Screen from Paris, Purple and white golf towels and an exclusive set of golf balls.
