Studio VOOP is the brainchild of owner and founder Petra Vonk. As Petra’s passion is being physically creative on a daily basis with either painting, lighting and or textile design, she leaped at the opportunity when the second floor in their building became available. Renovations to the spaced commenced during February 2020 transforming the space to be launched as a working studio, welcoming resident artists to work from the available studio spaces. Our goal is to discover talent and give artists a opportunity to establish and grow. We will host interactive workshops and use the space as a platform for community projects where we get to create jobs and do large scale art installations for various, shopping malls, brands and or individual companies. Art is therapy and we fully understand the impact it can have on 1 individual’s life, giving people hope and bringing communities together. We will also supply selected art materials.
